Our Distinguished History
Our history is distinctive. Founded in 1958, Rosary is one of the oldest continuously operating educational institutions. Two visionaries, Mrs. Winifred Aranha and Mr. A.G. Aranha, laid the foundation of this distinguished institution, with years of experience in the field of education already behind them.
For over six decades, we have remained committed to excellence in education, nurturing generations of students who have gone on to make meaningful contributions to society.

A School Built on Values, Vision & Excellence
One may trace the history of the Rosary School, much is located at Camp, Pune, right back to 1958. Two visionaries, Mrs. Winifred Aranha and Mr.A.G Aranha, laid the foundation of this distinguished institution, with years of experience in the field of education already behind them. What started out as a small school with 150 students being educated in rented premises, rapidly and steadfastly grew into a highly distinguished and recognized institution in Primary and Secondary School Education that it is today. With the rapidity in growth came the need for larger premises and in 1960, The Rosary School was built at 14, Ambedkar Road, Pune. By 1975, the Rosary School was a full- school providing knowledge and inspiration to thousands.
Building Academic Excellence With Care and Confidence
This school provides a platform for students to grow into individuals who are academically strong and otherwise confident. This is proudly done by dedicated teachers in a child friendly environment. The physical, emotional and moral health of each child is cared for Several co curricular activities conducted so very often make sure that students learn to adapt to other students, thus laying the foundation of social norms in these very young children. Academic performance of each child is monitored closely through regular assessment techniques as follows:
- Parents are informed of the progress of their child regularly through the Parent Teacher meetings.
- Every student is encouraged to participate in all activities in the school turning them in confident individuals.
These are just a few reasons why Rosarians turn out to be successful people in life with very happy memories of the School.
Advancing to Higher Education
After having fortified the schools with the strong foundation the management decided to open the Rosary Junior College of Commerce in 2004 with a view to extend quality education to the students of class XI and XII. In June 2005, the Junior college pf science was opened with an overwhelming response.
